OUR 5G INVESTMENT FOR YOUR FUTURE
The 5G campus network consists of a 5G base station and the core network as well as one outdoor and two indoor antennas with corresponding radio units (radio heads). The base station and core network run as an edge solution on a local machine. With the end-to-end mobile solution based on Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Software Defined Networking (SDN), innovative 5G applications can be realized on-site.
HARDWARE
The hardware used forms a high-performance basis for the 5G Standalone Packet Core used, based on 3GPP Release 16. The total data rate of the network can be several Gbit/s if there is a large number of simultaneously active connections with a high bit rate. The edge HWs used have 10 GB interfaces and sufficient CPU resources for throughput in the Gbit range.

FREQUENCIES
In April 2022, ituma was approved by the German Federal Network Agency to use 100MHz from the 3,700 – 3,800 MHz frequency band. This spectrum is needed to meet all current as well as future use case requirements in terms of latency, reliability and availability.

MOBILE 5G CAMPUS NETWORK
The mobile system is identical to the stationary 5G system. It can be used wherever a dedicated frequency spectrum from 3.7 GHz to 3.8 GHz is to be tested. We support you in frequency management (frequency planning, frequency application via the Federal Network Agency) and take care of the setup, commissioning and monitoring of your individually designed campus network.
